“Affidavits of DW Robb, Edward Bates and Patrick Lizman for hay lost and destroyed.”
This affidavit, signed September 5, 1865, states the conditions in which 50 tons of hay were guarded and subsequently pillaged by locals and destroyed by rain and snow. The affidavit seeks to absolve AW Robb of any wrongdoing concerning the property loss as acting assisting quarter master during the time of loss.
